The Usage Database

The usage database is simply a database that stores your application usage by counting hits and weighting them.
By doing so, one can use the weighting (higher click rate) for any given group of application and thus sort to display the more important ones at the top, displaying them next to the mouse.
By weighting the clicks and assigning them to periods, we can make sure that older clicks and habits are weighted less for the calculation of the application importance.
The usage database records will be available to all parts of the menu, including TOM, category view, search and favourites
